TAP, MassHousing's Tenant Assistance Program, provides cost effective tools to improve the quality of life for residents and helps create sustainable communities.

What are the advantages of TAP membership?

Membership is an investment that offers you a unique way to stabilize and enrich your housing community, lower operating costs and reduce turnover of staff and residents alike.

TAP will provide you with hands-on tools to address challenges such as, abuse, addiction, aging-in-place, fair housing, hoarding, mental illness and reasonable accommodations.

Who can join TAP?

TAP membership is available exclusively to housing developments financed or overseen by MassHousing.

What does TAP membership cost?

Annual fees pay for membership on the calendar year for just $10/unit/year.

What if our site can't afford TAP?

Consider TAP in next year's budget. For a site with financial hardship or no space for resident programs, discuss reduced rates with Sylvette Betancourt at 617.854.1076.

How to join?

Invoices have been mailed, and you may enroll your site by submitting payment with your invoice. With questions, please contact Kay Olm Thomas at 617.854.1078.
